In Platanistasa, Odysseas Spetsiotis’ home of the hero is a memorial – a bust in his memory.
Odysseas Spetsiotis was one of the reservists who, with the onset of the Turkish invasion, ran to rank and defend his homeland.
He was in the village of Agios Ermolaos, near Pentadachtylos, when he fell from a Turkish fire on July 26th.
